NRLL 2025 Spring Baseball Season


North Reading Little League is divided into seven different leagues. Player assignments are based on both age and skill level. See below for descriptions of each league. Please note that age ranges below are subject to change.

Major league and minor league registration is closed. Twelve year olds can still register for 50/70 League.
 
The family cap for the 2025 Spring Baseball Season is $475. If this applies to your family, please save your cart and email our Treasurer, Bill Hornby, at [email protected]. He will create a discount coupon to be utilized at checkout. The family cap only applied to the Spring Baseball season and does not include other programs run by NRLL (i.e. winter clinics, summer clinic, Jimmy Fund).

Please note you do not need to complete the school verification form unless the player attends school in North Reading, but does NOT live in North Reading.
 
Ages: 4-5
Registration Fee: $165.00
 
Tee-Ball (Ages 4-5) – A fun introduction to baseball.
 
Ages: 6-12
Registration Fee: $350.00
Early Bird Discount: $295.00 (check deadlines below)
 
Instructional League (Ages 6-7) – Coach pitched games. All players bat and play
the field every inning. Early Bird Deadline: February 15, 2025.
 
Farm League (Ages 7-8) – A combination of coach and player pitched games. Players learn about and play specific positions. Basic baseball rules are taught and implemented (e.g., 3 outs & strikeouts). Early Bird Deadline: February 15, 2025.
 
Minor League (Ages 9-11) – The games become more competitive. All games are exclusively player pitched. Early Bird Deadline: February 15, 2025.
 
Major League (Ages 10-12) – This is the most competitive league in the 12U division. Not all baseball 10s and 11s will be assigned to the Majors. Players not selected will be assigned to a team in the Minors. Early Bird Deadline: January 15, 2025.

Early Bird Registration: $295.00
Registration Fee: $350.00 (check deadlines below)
 
50/70 League (Age 13) – Played on a bigger field with longer basepaths (70ft) and more distance between the mound and home plate (50ft). This is a transitional league that prepares players for the big diamond (full-sized regulation field). Early Bird Deadline: February 15, 2025.
 
Senior League (Ages 14-16) – Games are played on the big diamond (i.e. Carey Park – Home of the NRHS Baseball teams). There is no registration fee for players aged 15-16.


Age Rules - Little League age is determined based on official Little League guidelines.

2025 Summer Camp Week #1

The North Reading Baseball Summer Clinics are designed to help young players improve their skills, become better teammates, increase their baseball knowledge, and have fun with their friends! Each day of the clinic, players will go through a variety of drills in the morning, followed by the ability to showcase what they have worked on with afternoon games. In addition to the baseball skills that will be learned, there will be a significant emphasis on good sportsmanship, giving your best effort, and being a great teammate. The clinic staff will be led by current NR head varsity baseball coach Eric Archambault and include other members of the HS coaching staff, former NR varsity players, and current NR varsity players. Players will all receive a clinic t-shirt as well as a variety of other giveaways each day. It is encouraged for players to sign up for both weeks as we build on skills from week one to week two, however it is not mandatory. We hope to see you there!
